Pinnacle Studio Pro App Reviews

I love the app but it would be way better if we could do something like video overlays, and basic stuff like filters. This would make the apps 100% better.

Pinnacle Studio is the best mobile video editing app out there--its easy to use, easy to add media and share finished projects plus has tools youd never expect to find in a mobile editing app. Audio mixer and SFX are great, FX also--love the slow mo--are fabulous and while I dont have an iPad Air 2 its great to know that if I did it would support 4K editing. Motion titles add polish to projects too. Its also great to show your clients on the fly how something is going to cut together.

I have LOVED using this program until now. Unfortunately, now that I have an iPad Pro, I wanted to import in my projects from my iPhone. I uploaded the projects to Google Drive from my iPhone, then went to my iPad to import them. Every time, without fail, it downloads about 67 MB of the 2 GB file before giving up and crashing. I have uninstalled and reinstalled the app, and restarted my iPad, no dice. I cant continue my work because of this glitch, so I cant rate it any higher than 2 stars. Maybe once thats fixed I can give this new update a better assessment.

It is definitely the most competed moviemaker app on the AppStore, but it can be better. Please, let us change the video/slideshow background color, and much more nicer a blur background that will automatically change depending on the image. You know, like if you are making a slideshow or a portrait video you add a blur background to make it look much better!

Here is the bug, i tried uploading "No Escape" to youtube, and i got an error message displaying whatever. And you really need to fix this! Please just do anything you can to fix the bug!

Go ahead and let me know once this app is fixed as I have experienced the same issue with not being able to upload my videos. It gets partially done but then says my internet connection failed. Tried it multiple times and then just went back to the old original app and it worked. Seriously let me know when its fixed.

Just updated to latest version and I purchased the baby pack last year and now it shows I have to buy it. Why did it not show I purchased that a year ago. I dont want to buy it again. Has anyone else had this problem with previous in app purchases? I will give it more stars when I get my previous in app purchase back. Fixed. Update: Nice app but Now it wont upload to YouTube. Did several times and it gets to the end and gives me an error message that it cant compete the upload try uploading to something else. Everything is correct with my YouTube account so whats up???? Go to my YouTube channel and the video is uploaded several times . Just glad it uploaded

No support for iCloud Drive. Every other cloud is supported except for the one every iPad user has. Please update!

Ive tried many iPad video editing apps, and they are all inferior. This does a beautiful job, is intuitive, and gives great results. I would like to see it keep pushing the boundaries of its capabilities though.

Dont waste 12$ for this piece of garbage app. It barely works and wont let me download videos.

Used to be my go-to video editor...until it just stopped reading anything from my photo library my video library and my music library. And try contacting Corel for support. They make it an effort to "join the forum." Now its crashing every time I try edit text. The entire clip is just one sentence. Stick with iMovie. At least it does what its supposed to do. This app claims to have more features, but theyre useless if the app crashes like drunk teen driving while texting

Pros: It does what the description says its suppose to do, Video edit like the champ it is, plus it has a couple more features iMovie doesnt have! Cons: It crashed the first time "I" used it and the interface looks like its from the early 1990s, it could use a major facelift. Background exporting, I dont know about anyone else but when Im exporting a video, I like to multitask and maybe do some research on Safari... I cant do its thing in the background! So if your exporting 4K footage and its going to take 10 minutes to export that means your iPhone or iPad is tied up for that amount of time.

What more can I say?! Developer support is the icing on the cake! Ask the developers a question and get a prompt answer, and offer new ideas and share tips through their user forum. With new functionality in the works, an audio mixer for the three audio tracks, and fully customizable dissolve capability all in a less memory intensive app! Im so glad I made the switch to Pinnacle Pro!

Now layering of video although i can understand due to phone limitations. The two things i can not forgive though is not being able to put text on top of video and when you try to change the color of the text, the color wheel pops up behind the key board and you cant even get to the color picker to change anything. You can hide the key board and it shows but when you do hide it any changes you make are not applied. There is no way to really learn how to use this app either. The only two tutorials on the web that I can find are by them and only teach a few things about the app. Pretty lame. Massive waste of 12 bucks.

This app is great for movie making. I have some suggestions to add to the next update. 1. Add split screen recording 2. Add a reverse play (play videos backwards) 3. Add some filters 4. Have a recording stabilizer option for those with shakes hands. Hope these were good suggestions. Hope to see them soon in the app

AudioBus, IAA, or at the least AudioShare integration will make this a five star app. Otherwise its not really "Pro"

So much better than iMovie

Please fix the slow motion. If I slow the clip down, it automatically crops it to the same clip length, rather than extending the clip length so it can show the full clip. Same with sped up, it extends the clip for some odd reason. Other than that, this app. Is perfect, I use it all the time.

Overjoyed with this update. If you want to use an iOS device to edit and produce video, there is no better option. The others couldnt do what I need to do. With AudioShare, I can start and finish projects entirely in Pinnacle, bringing in video, graphics, text, photos, and now music or audio clips as I need them, and voiceover recording couldnt be easier. I still hope to see AudioBus or AU integration at some point, allowing us to record music scores, using an iOS app recorded into Pinnacle directly.
