Pinnacle Studio Pro App Reviews

I think the company that bought this app (Lumafusion? Lunafusion?) further developed it to sell under their own name as a premier product for $30. I dont have a problem with that, but they havent been providing any up-to-date information about Pinnacle. There is no updated manual. The only one Ive seen is from 2012 and has outdated instructions. They send you to user forums that havent been used in years and to a tutorial page with exactly one basic tutorial. It does not have anywhere near the functionality to deserve to be called "Pro." I dont understand the rave reviews. It has more bells and whistles than iMovie, but pretty much the sam limited functionality.

This app is great. Until you try to export. That moment is the moment when your god should get in contact with Pinnacle. To shake them a little.....

I give 5 Stars if you include Audiobus compatibility. I really would like to be able to create soundtracks from audio and midi apps directly into Pinnacle Studio. Tank you for your excellent programm.

Best editing app for iPad! This app lets you do more than any other editing app. It runs smoothly and is very intuitive. I am looking back on years and years of experience working professionally with editors for TV. Now this app lets me do almost everything I need to edit films on my own. Importing media, transisitions, audio mixing, titling and most importantly exporting the files plus lots more. Pinnacle Studio turns this small iPad (Air) into a powerfull working machine. If you are looking for the best option for professional editing on an iPad, this one is for you!

App gets worse with each update. Now it tells me that my media is missing when I didnt change anything and the original media is still there. Epic Fail

I just did a small test using my iPad. Posted it to facebook. guess what? I cant see it on iPad because I need flashplayer! Jokes on me hahahaha! I also cant delete it from my facebook page.

Powerful and easy to use

Took this for a test drive as a skeptic mobile short film editor, but left a believe in mobile possibilities. Very powerful and intuitive. Ditch the old film projector imagery on the projects page as it takes away from the advanced features this app truly has.

Im only a newbie when it comes to editing video, but with this app (after getting used to it all) makes me feel like a professional at editing. Theres so many things i could do with this app. Thanks!

It would be rather nifty to be able to paste/import music files from other sources besides the itunes library. With all the music creation apps available, as well as apps like audioshare, sonoma pasteboard etc., this in my humble opinion would be ideal for the next upgrade. Perhaps the folks at Corel will follow up on this swell idea. Golly, I hope so !

Wonderful movie making app, it gives a simple and easy way to turn clips and photos into movies. The biggest problem that I have is the lack of special effects. Other software has an abundance of filters that can make your movie look like it is a silent movie from the 20s or and early technicolor, etc. however, this program has nothing.

So far, this is by far the BEST video editing app Ive ever seen. This makes iMovie look like a toy, in comparison. Well worth the money. Please keep adding new features. This ROCKS my ipad!

Lots of stock transitions intros and finales. Editing is super simple. One of the best apps I have ever purchased.

Great app...especially for the money

This app is an excellent basic video editing app. It has an Intuitive interface and workflow, and a useful variety of transitions and effects. It is stable and reasonably quick on my iPad 2 with iOS 6.1.3 (assume it work be faster on a newer iPad model which has a faster processor). I am accustomed to editing video using professional software on my Mac Book Pro yet I am frequently surprised by the capabilities of Pinnacle Studio on iPad.

Great quality, needs a few improvements, but for the cost its been invaluable to me

Updated the pinnacle app on my ipad 4 to latest version 4.0.1 ( and i am still running IOS 6.0.3 to play it safe) and this new version ruined all my pinnacle projects. Older projects still show images displayed small icon style in time line but the main display shows only black on the screen. When I add a zoom to any mage or video only then will a picture display. Of course this ruins everything. All new test projects i created worked fine but anything prior is just completely trashed. That is BS ! Didnt you guys test this BEFORE release ?
